Beaches
Playa Sotogrande
A 2km beach immediately accessible from the Sotogrande Costa Kings and Queens neighbourhood. It’s an urban beach which offers showers, toilets, sunbeds, parking, and some watersports. Also, home to the exclusive Trocadero Beach Club with an excellent selection of dining options as well as the Bunker Beach Club.
Playa Paseo del Mar
A small stretch of beach between Sotogrande Marina and the Guadiaro River, well equipped to spend a perfect summers day. Here you will find 2 chiringuitos (beach bars), sun bed rental, watersports and during the summer you can pick up the water taxi to and from the marina.
Torreguadiaro Beach
Running the length of Torreguadiaro village on the East Side of Sotogrande up to Sotogrande Port. There are some great Chiringuitos to discover, which often host live music events in the summer. There is parking, lifeguards, sun bed rental and showers and a good choice of restaurants in walking distance in Torreguadiaro itself.
Playa Guadalquiton
A quiet 5km beach to the West of Sotogrande between Sotogrande and Alcaidesa, hugging the Guadalquiton National Park immediately inland. With a combination of stand and stones and limited access points, it’s not hugely popular with swimmers and sunbathers but is a peaceful location for dog walkers and ramblers to enjoy.

Valderrama Golf Club
Well known as Spain´s greatest golf course. A Ryder Cup venue, 16 times Volvo Masters and 2 Amex Championships put this Par 71 course within the Top 100 courses in the entire world. A must play for any Golf fan.
La Reserva Golf
This 18-hole Championship course designed by Cabell B. Robinson and inaugurated in 2003 is one of the more recent, but no less impressive additions to the Sotogrande Golf community. With an exceptional range of complimentary services to be found at La Reserva Country Club, a day spent at La Reserva is one you will never forget.
Real Sotogrande
The first golf course established in Sotogrande and the basis from which the estate was planned. A Par 72 18-hole course sits just 150 metres from the Mediterranean with long tees, wide fairways, and elevated greens, it’s a thrilling course for players of any level.
Almenara Golf
Composed of 3 courses of 9 holes, surrounded by the Los Alcornocales natural park. Designed by Dave Thomas in 1998 and recently remodelled to new standards by the legendary golfer Manuel Piñero in 2021. It offers challenge to experienced players and diversity thanks to its combined 27 holes.
La Canada Golf
An 18-hole, Par 71 course with pro-shop, an impressive practice area. Originally founded as a private, non-profit sports association, it offers affordable pricing alongside a high-quality course, making it highly attractive to visitors year-round.
Alcaidesa Links and Heathland
A luxury golf destination of 2 courses with 36 distinct holes. Reopening in Summer 2022 after an impressive redesign as the perfect spot for golf holidays. The course enjoys arguably the best views over the whole Costa del Sol offering both challenge and delight to its players.
San Roque Club Old
An institution in the Sotogrande golf circuit, brought into 21st century standards thanks to a recent renovation of the well-respected ‘Old Course.’ There are 2 Championship courses to sample. 18-hole Par 72, surrounded by beautiful cork forests.

These regular nautical events create a buzz of activity around the marina as fleets of boats head out into the straights to demonstrate their impressive sailing prowess.
It’s a fantastic time to be part of the Sotogrande scene as the world’s elite sailing teams descend en-masse to be part of these prestigious occasions.
