Hi, I’m Rob and I’m the founder of Rob Laver Property Consultants.
I have been working in the Sotogrande property market, where I have lived with my Spanish wife and family since 1985. During this time, I have built strong connections within the local community which has led me to assist 1000’s of home buyers secure their perfect property in this highly desirable neighbourhood.
After 4 decades in operation, I have honed my experience, knowledge and contacts in the region so that I am able to offer quality, expert guidance to my clients. We are well known as the go-to real estate experts of the area, with a positive reputation for providing a friendly, yet professional property finder’s service.

Having spent all my life in Sotogrande, it seemed only right to join the family business to advocate what a wonderful part of the world this is to live in.
After leading a sales team for a software company in Barcelona I returned to Sotogrande just as the property market was really taking off. I have joined my father to future proof the business with digital solutions that are essential to drive our consultancy forward.
Over the last few years, I’ve seen Sotogrande grow and improve before my eyes. Significant investment has been made by national and international investors bringing world class leisure facilities, gastronomy and real estate opportunities to the local area. As a result, Sotogrande is attracting more and more discerning international buyers who are truly impressed by this residential destination especially when compared to neighbouring towns.
Growing up in Sotogrande, I attended the Sotogrande International School. This has given me valuable first-hand experience of what it is like for families relocating to the area and considering education and housing locations that will be suitable for their children.
I’ve been an active part of the sporting community all my life and there is an abundance to enjoy in Soto. I am more than happy to share my local knowledge of golf courses, polo matches, padel clubs and water sports as I believe this is a key lifestyle advantage which plays an important part in the property decision
making process.
